It’s important that you read this before using your power supply

This power supply is intended to be used to its maximum rated current and you should make sure that you are using a model that is capable of supplying your load.

Safety Precautions

  • Don’t place tools or any other metal object on or around the power supply
  • Make sure that you are using your power supply in a well ventilated area.
  • Make sure you don’t obstruct the holes around the casing of the power supply. It needs to be well ventilated otherwise it may overheat and not work properly.
  • This power supply is designed for internal use only. Operate it in areas that are not exposed to different weather conditions e.g. rain or in a damp area.
  • This product does not have any user serviceable parts. Please return it to your place of purchase for warranty or service.
How to connect the power supply

*Important – 12V power supplies for 12V loads and 24V power supplies for 24V loads

  • Make sure the switch on the unit is in the OFF position.
  • Make sure the AC outlet is switched OFF and plug the 3 pin mains lead into the AC socket.
  • Connect your Negative (-) lead of your load to the Negative (-) terminal of the power supply.
  • Connect your Positive (+) lead of your load to the Positive (+) terminal of the power supply.
  • Switch on the Power supply at the AC outlet and then switch on the power supply unit via the switch at the rear.
  • At this point the red Power LED will be on showing the power supply is on.
  • When you have finished using your power supply, switch off the unit at the rear and switch off the AC outlet then disconnect your load ready for your next use.
